The journey’s starting point has changed and will now start at Eden Guest House, Jacaranda Street 8, behind Excel Garage at 8:00 on Friday 27 January.

He challenges the Thabazimbi community to ride the first 8km up to Thabazimbi Golf Club with him. All it takes is a small donation of your choice, to enter. He will bid Thabazimbi farewell at the golf course and will then be on his way to Durban.

Jennings’s route is as follows: Thabazimbi, Atlanta Holiday Resort, Hartebeespoortdam, Springs, Balfour, Standerton, Volksrust, Newcastle, Dundee, Ladysmith, Escort, Mooi Rivier, Midmar dam, Camperdown and Durban.

The community of Thabazimbi can help by pledging your choice of the following: 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c and so forth. The pledge you make will be multiplied by the amount of kilometres on his clock. For example, 1000km x 10c = R100 or R1 = R1000. By pledging the amount of your choice you are automatically entered into a lucky draw, person that has the correct km reading, wins a week’s accommodation at Atlanta Holiday resort.
