Live healthily and run for fun

THABAZIMBI – CANSA Thabazimbi’s promotion for a healthy life style has taken shape in the annual evening fun run during October. This year the event will take place on Wednesday 28 October and the starting point is in front of Thaba Stereo in Van der Bijl Avenue at 17:45.
This is the ideal opportunity for a whole family to spend time together, enjoy a beautiful spring evening, engage in a healthy activity and support a good cause. The good cause is CANSA’s continuous support for cancer research.
A distance of 5 or 10 km can be covered during the fun run and entrants can register at the starting point on Wednesday from 17:00 or at Deo Volente Beds (014 777 1818). Registration forms are also available at most of the local schools.
The fun run is strictly for all ages and prizes will be awarded in several categories. Medals will be awarded to all participants completing the route. Entry fees are between R20 and R40, depending on the distance covered and the age of the participants. Lize Momberg can be contacted on 082 520 8455 for more information.
