MODIMOLLE – Modimolle SAPS had a breakthrough when they arrested three suspects who were buying items in the shops, using counterfeit one hundred rand notes.
Notes to the value of R400 were confiscated from the suspects, two male and one female. The three suspects were arrested on Tuesday 7 September 2010 at 16:00 in Modimolle.
An appeal is being made to other business people in and around Modimolle who might have been victims of the suspects to come forward so that all the cases can be fully and timeously investigated.
The three are facing charges of fraud and will appear before Modimolle Magistrate Court. Enquiries can be directed to Lt Colonel Malesela Ledwaba on 082 451 7180.
