Prepare to B’dazzled by Sun City’s new Extravaganza

14-Sun City Extravaganza1691 (2)B’dazzled, the latest show in the Sun City tradition of entertaining extravaganzas, opens at the Sun City Theatre on Tuesday, 8 April 2014 and will run through to the end of September 2014.

B’dazzled will be the 11th extravaganza directed and produced by the master of the craft, Carlo Spettu and his team, choreographer Ursula Greer and lighting designer Grant Williams.

The show is a fast moving celebration of music, song and dance in the true Sun City style, from a superb cast of 14 stunning dancers who will burn up the dance floor with the very best in today’s choreography.

The show ticks every expectation from feathers and staircases to a dazzling array of sensational costumes that are changed every two to three minutes, and spectacular state-of-the-art LED lighting effects.

B’dazzled’s music is both modern and familiar, covering all genres from hip hop to funk, pop, Latin and swing, a mix of genres catering for all tastes.

Vocalists Hayley C and Miles Hartman will add their phenomenal voices and presence to the spectacle on stage with power ballads and the latest pop songs too. Their performances in the previous show were so well received by Sun City audiences that Carlo happily brought them back for this new show.

Also returning by popular demand are the Naledi, award-winning Ama Taps quartet from Soweto. Their lightening quick tap dance routines are awe inspiring.

Monday to Wednesday performances start at 9pm and Thursday to Saturday shows start at 8pm. Tickets are available at Computicket at R130 each.

Opening on Thursday 24 April 2014 at the Sun City Theatre Sun City’s, latest adults-only show, Heavenly Bodies, will present a feast for the eyes. The show runs until 27 September 2014, Thursday to Saturday. The show starts at 10 pm Tickets are available from Computicket at R160 each to strictly over 18s only.

The costumes are risqué but fully dressed by special body lighting projections for dramatic and sensual effect

Along with vocals from talented singers Hayley C and Miles Hartman, the show features nine ‘heavenly’ female dancers and four hunky males. The show is sexy and dramatic, delightfully daring, naughty but nice and deliciously entertaining.
