Thabazimbi Horse riders standing proud in Gauteng

THABAZIMBI – July has been a very busy month for our Thabazimbi show jumpers who have competed very successfully in Gauteng. The weekend of the third and forth of July 2010, saw the Fourways Equestrain Centre host the Junior/Adult all grades show, including Amateur Series, where WES Maki Saki owned by WES FEEDS Thabazimbi and ridden by Monica Willats, powered himself into fifth place in the 1m Competition and then into third place in the Speed Class out of a very competitive field of 52 competitors.

At the Witkoppen second Adult Conti Canola Tri Series on the 24th and 25th of July, Melissa de Beer riding Oppressor, rode to perfection and received fifth place in the competition as well as fifth place in the Speed class with 43 competitors.

WES Maki Saki once again did Thabazimbi proud and came third in the Adult 1m Competition and fifth place in the Speed class against a field of 45 Gauteng riders.

The following Thabazimbi riders have been selected for the Limpopo Inter Regional team:

  • Melissa de Beer on Oppressor in the Adult 90cm and these three Thabazimbi riders, Gillian Trollope on Corn Time, Lindie de Beer on Visa and Monica Willats on WES Maki Saki have all qualified for the Adult 1m Team event and will take part in the events to be held on the 21st and 22nd of August in Gauteng at Kyalami.
  • Liandi Pienaar on Solar Princess, will represent Limpopo at the Higher Grade Inter Regional’s on the 18th and 19th of September at Kyalami in Gauteng
