Streamline passed away

Elandsfontein/Mapyane: It is with sadness to report to the community of Northam and surrounding villages of the loss of the hard-working and caring and devoted man, Mr Stephen Chasonda “Streamline” Sibanda. He passed on the 18-06-2012 after a short illness. In his days, he was an active member of the ANC, and was the first Councillor the Moses Kotane Local Municipality.

He was the leader of the former centre Chiefs football Club that was able to play the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaiser Chiefs and The New Arcadia Alauridem. He will be remembered for his energy of assisting schools and the support to the children from needy families and communities.

He will also be remembered by what for what he stood for and believed in, “Working hard and Assisting People”.

Sibanda is survived by nine children and nine grand children.

He will officially be laid to rest on 30 June at Mapyawe. The funeral Service will be held at his house at 06:30 in the morning: Rest in piece: Robala ka Ragiso TAU.
