THABAZIMBI – Six people from Thabazimbi will be part of a team of 35 participating for Thabang Children’s Home in the Momentum Cycle 947 Challenge in Johannesburg on 15 November 2015.
From Thabang Cecil and Tessa White, their son, Dominic, and Admire Kamonere are taking up the challenge with Jan Davel and Wilma Pienaar to cycle the 94,7km. Altogether 30 000 cyclists will be participating, but the local group, joined by 29 others, will be cycling for Thabang Children’s Home, a local Non Profit Organisation that cares for orphaned and needy children within the Thabazimbi area. TheThabang group hopes to raise awareness and funds to enable the Thabang children to get a decent education.
