Ysterberg Primary School visits Wes Enterprises – Thabazimbi

THABAZIMBI – The Ysterberg Primary school, grade 7 pupils had the opportunity to visit Wes Enterprises to see for themselves how maize meal is made, on Wednesday, 18 February.
The initiative for the educational visit was taken by the management of WESenterprises in an effort to imbue the youth of Thabazimbi with information as to how a manufacturing process can transpose a raw material into another product. The children were shown the complete process from quality control carried out on the receipt of the whole maize received from the Farm/Silo through to the end product of SELEKA Super Maize Meal in a bag.
Each child was treated to refreshments and also received a free sample of 1kg fresh SELEKA Super Maize Meal.
