Thabazimbi Group 12 transformers vandalised and stolen

THABAZIMBI – Parts of Thabazimbi Local Municipality, was without electricity after criminals stole parts and vandalised the group 12 transformers last Saturday, 15 February 2014.

This led to the community being without water as pumps were not pumping as expected. Municipal technicians have been busy with the replacements and installations of new transformers.

The thieves stole three transformers, cables and control boxes. The affected areas are Thabazimbi town and Regorogile extension 5 and 6.

The Thabazimbi Local Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused and called on community members to assist police in catching the culprits.
