Municipal ladies celebrates Women month

THABAZIMBI – As part of Women’s month, Thabazimbi Local Municipality (TLM) women employees and councillors participated in volleyball, netball and ladies football sporting codes in August.

They participated in various municipal departments. The Municipal Managers’s (MM), Solid Waste and Refuse were the best teams and were crowned champions of the 2013.

Similar events will be held on a monthly basis to promote fitness within the municipal structure. The Mayor, Patricia Mosito, gave them a message of encouragement before the games started. The municipality would like to thank Capitec for their contribution in donating goody bags to all winners of the day. Team Technical and Planning and Economic Development came second.

The winners, Team MM, Solid Waste and Refuse were the best team during the TLM Women in Sports Day last week.
