Copper cable theft

MAKOPPA – Thabazimbi SAPD and Makoppa CPF successfully apprehended three suspects in connection with copper cable theft and housebreak-ins during a joint operation held on 19 August 2013.

Three suspects and a truck were stopped at a roadblock during this operation. The three suspects had various tools in their possession, connecting them to various thefts in the Makoppa area in the last few months.

Makoppa CPF would like to thank the Thabazimbi SAPS members as well as the Makoppa CPF members involved in this operation.
