Farewell Ofentse

Municipal soccer team players carrying their coach, Ofentse Ngwako to his final rest. Mr Ofentse “Fefe” Godfrey Ngwako (35), who was working as a Divisional Head IT at the municipality when he passed away, was laid to rest at the Thabazimbi cemetery Sunday 10 February. In his tribute on behalf of the Municipality staff, Municipal Manager, Adv. ME Ntsoane, remembered Ofentse as an official who had championed what became the municipal IT. Ofentse was also active in sports, he won many trophies as a player, goalkeeper and as a coach. The funeral service was attended by Municipal councilors led by Mayor Mosito, Management, staff, SAMWU leadership, President of SAIMSA, Mr David Sono, family members, friends and community members.
