Mayor’s message for Matrics

THABAZIMBI – From the Mayor of Thabazimbi Municipality, Cllr Patricia Aletta Mosito to all Grade 12 learners:

“You now have very few more days before you begin your matric examinations. This is a crucial and challenging time for you. It is in fact the beginning of a new part of your life.

The results you achieve in the November Senior Certificate Examinations will determine your choice of career and your future. Always aim high and remember that hard work and discipline are the best way to increase your learning and earning potential.

Make sure that you keep calm and read exam questions carefully. We also plead with our local communities to suppress the noise to give our learners space to revise at home.

We hope that you will work hard, concentrate and do your best. You are our beacons of hope and the future of this country. As you enter university, college or the world of work, remember to always do your best for yourself and for your family.”

The Mayor further called on parents to afford learners time for studies and not to pile them with unnecessary work during this period.

“As in the past, we have no reason to doubt the talents and abilities of our learners to produce good results. This is why we have confidence in every learner and wish them good luck in this year’s exams,” concluded the Mayor.

“You are always in our thoughts as you prepare for your examinations in these last few days. Good luck. With our best wishes.”
