Rra Ditau’s co-owner passed away
THABAZIMBI – Daniel Robert, better known as Robbie Robinson, sadly passed away on 22 May. His funeral took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he lived in his youth. He is survived by his wife, Christine, daughter Tanya and son, Neil.
Robbie and Christine became the owners of Rra Ditau Game Lodge in 2002. Robbie was a well-loved member of the community because of his good humour, kind nature and extreme generosity. Robbie not only gave donations to numerous charities, he actively helped certain causes. One of the main highlights of his time at Rra Ditau was when he organized functions for the Durban Light Infantry. He made a lot of veterans very happy.
Robbie will be sorely missed by all who had the honour and privilege to have met and known him.
A ceremony in celebration of his life will be held at Rra Ditau at 11:00 on Saturday 21 July 2012.
Christine and Neil would like to thank friends and clients for their condolences and kindness, there are far too many to name.
They would like to express special thanks to Rona and Johan Potgieter for all their help, care, support and generosity during this very difficult period, in keeping the lodge functional in their absence.
