THABAZIMBI – The brand new plastic home-ware store in the Pick n Pay Centre, @Plastics, opened their doors in June 2012.
The owners of @Plastics, Albert and Christine Pereira, moved to Thabazimbi from Roodepoort, Johannesburg, earlier in 2012 after they fell in love with the town. They’ve been visiting family and friends in Thabazimbi for 11 years and always planned to raise a family in the bushveld, therefore the decision to establish their business here, was easily made.
They told Kwêvoël that they would like to provide the community with a one-stop shopping trip, although this concept is still new for the Thabazimbi community. The seven staff members currently employed by @Plastics, aim to serve the customers with friendliness and assist them throughout their shopping experience. The store intends to bring a variety of unique products to the community.
There is currently over 1500 different lines all in one store, this includes plastic ware, petcare, glassware, cleaning materials, party goodies, toys, kitchenware, packaging materials and stationary all at incredibly low prices.
The owners of @Plastics plan to expand the store with great new additions as they grow. They intend to double the kitchenware, party items and toy lines by next month. @Plastics invites their customers to inform them of the products that they would like to buy in order for management to obtain greater customers satisfaction and service.
