In reaction to the report the Manager Technical Services of Thabazimbi Municipality stated that it should be noted that the drinking water for all their supplier zones have not failed monthly sampling results tested by Waterlab during 2011. “Our tap water therefore remains safe despite the fact that the Municipality achieved a low Blue Drop Certification in the last 2 years. We hope to achieve 85% and above during the 2012 assessment,” he said.
