Underwater Club, permanent home for local scuba-divers

THABAZIMBI – After numerous enquiries about scuba-diving from the Thabazimbi area, Flippers to Fins SCUBA decided to launch the Thabazimbi Underwater Club to bring scuba diving to the Thabazimbi area.

Friday 26 February 2010 sees the launch of the Thabazimbi Underwater Club to promote scuba diving in the area and provide scuba training. The club will offer scuba courses in the area every two months which will co-inside with a dive social to get everyone together. The socials are a fun way of meeting people with similar interests, discuss trips and talk diving in general. The club will also organise regular dive excursions to inland, coastal as well as overseas destinations. There will be a dive course presented in Thaba from 24 February and will be completed on 28 February at Miracle Waters just outside Brits. The first social will be held at the Amandelbult 4×4 Clubhouse on 26 February from 18:00 onwards. It will be a bring and braai, so bring your friends along as well as something to braai and drink and come have a good time.
