Comrades Marathon 2010 Workshop

Polokwane Athletic Club will be hosting the only official Comrades 2010 Road Show in Limpopo Province on 22 October 2009. Representatives of the Comrades Marathon Association together with their invited speakers will chair the workshop.
All individuals are invited to attend this important workshop to obtain information directly from the Comrades representatives. The workshop will be held at the clubhouse of the Polokwane Athletic Club at the Peter Mokaba Stadium and start at 18:45. The panel discussions will last approximately one hour and afterwards two lucky draws of R 500 will be done, one for a lucky lady and one for a man. Boerewors rolls will be available after the draws have taken place at a nominal fee.
Comrades training groups from the Polokwane Athletic Club have already started to train together. Seasoned Comrades runners from the club are joining the training groups on the training runs to guide and give advice to first time runners. All interested are invited to join the training groups and Wednesday evening club runs.
Registration for the 2010 Comrades Marathon has already opened for past Comrades runners. The closing date for such runners is 31 October 2009 and numbers are limited to 15 000. To date approximately 9 000 runners have already entered. First time runners can only register from 1 November 2009 and place for such runners are limited to 5 000 entrants. You can enter now and have time to qualify until April 2010.
