First flight for typing winner

AMANDELBULT – The winner of a typing competition that was held for the Office Practice Level 2 students of me Martie Dippenaar, at Amandelbult FET College, was won by Me KG Maye.
Me Maye was awarded Best typist in the group of 22 students. The prize for this competition was a trip in the private aeroplane of Mr Carel Olivier of Thabazimbi Flying School and was organised by Mr Burkie Murray.
Amandebult FET College is a satellite campus of Westcol College, Randfontein.  The college offers two full time courses, Electrical Infrastructure Construction and Office Administration.  These courses are offered as year courses (Level 2 and Level 3) at present. The college also offers Computer Practice and other business courses (N4 – N6) as well as a wide range of mining-, electrical- and mechanical courses, also N4 – N6, as partime and off-site learning courses.
