Body found
The decomposed body of an african male was found in the Crocodile river at Nooitgedacht farm on Sunday 14 September.
The identity of the deceased is known to the police. He was a resident of Pylkop village and was reported missing by his girl friend on 28 July, after he had been missing for four months.
No foul play was suspected, but a finding will be made as soon as a post mortem has been conducted.

Ghanaians arrested

The arrest of three Ghanaian nationals lead to the recovery of  three stolen decoders and one satelite dish in Gauteng.
The Thabazimbi Cluster Rapid Reaction Unit, together with Thabazimbi detectives, investigated local burglaries and, by following up on leads, ended up in Gauteng arresting the three Ghanaians.
The Ghanaians had already appeared in court, but no bail was granted. The investigation is still continuing as some suspects are still at large.

New demarcation of Sectors

Due to policing requirements the management of Thabazimbi police station has decided to change the previous sector demarcations in order for only three sectors to exist as from 1 September this year.
Sector 1 covers the area from Koedoeskop Garage, Setaria Mine, Jabulani, Phatsima, Mamoraka, Rhino Mine, all farms on the Klipgat Road, Mooivallei, Kaaldraai, Makoppa, Gannahoek to Tarentaalkraal.
Sector 2 includes Regorogile and Ipelegeng. Areas covered by  Sector 3 are Thabazimbi town, Kwaggasvlakte, Marakele, Spitskop, Hartebeesfontein, Zimthabi and Kransberg.
A vehicle will be available 24 hours to all the sectors.
Each sector will have Sector Forums appointed to deal with crime related matters. The old sector forums will be integrated into the newly created Sector Forums. The police has however requested that all members of the public avail themselves to serve in the sectors.
