Edgars employee questioned

THABAZIMBI – An Edgars employee is being detained for further questioning with regards to a burglary at Edgars on Tuesday night 3 June.
Unknown people gained entrance to Edgars store on Tuesday night through the roof. A grinder was used to cut the roof open. Inside the store a safe containing money was cut open and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.
Investigations are still being conducted to determine whether other items or stock was stolen. A case of housebreaking is being investigated.
