PMA North now also in Thabazimbi
THABAZIMBI – The well known company that was established in 1980, Povey Mulvenna & Associates (PMA) North, opened their doors in town. This decision was made after realising that Thabazimbi is developing rapidly and has required these needs for some time.
They have a unique unit standard based programme for team development that builds self esteem, team values and individual alignment and internalises the maintenance of team value systems. At van Blerk, who was born in Thabazimbi and grew up on the farm Weltevrede, will be the leading consultant to look after these needs.
Marius Jooste, will manage the training services. PMA North have a institutional accreditation with the Services SETA and provides training in the following areas:
Generic management qualification, level 3 and 4; assessor; moderator; NQ skills development; management skills; labour relations; supervisory development; leadership; problem solving; decision making; health and safety; hospitality skills and also HIV/AIDS education. All their courses are outcomes based and unit standard aligned and accredited where applicable.
The branch manager, Kurt Bresele will do the following training accredited by the ETDP SETA: coach learners – NQF level 3, OD ETDP certificate – NQF level 4 and 5.
Judy Deysel will be in charge of the placement services and effective recruitment. Permanent, contract and temporary recruitment and selection are done using an employment equity complaint assessment tool for the 21st Century. Judy will also determine the potential strengths and weaknesses within a specific profile within a specific environment.
