Ithuteng pupils visit JHB International Airport

THABAZIMBI – The children from Ithuteng School visited the Johannesburg International Airport on 14 March 2005. Most of the kids saw a airplane close-up for the first time. They were very excited and had lots of fun.
The aim of the trip was to teach the children about the different types of transport. They also planned other activities for the day like Life Skill, Literacy, Numeracy and to top it all off, they held a Miss Ithuteng at the airport.
The winners was Denise Mathabatha (queen), Koketso Ramafoko (first princess) and Lidia Masepantshwa (second princess). Happy faces was every where to be seen when they left the airport. The kids could not wait to tell their parents about this wonderful experience.
