This passed weekend the children of Thabang enjoyed a party held in honour of Nelson Mandela’s 92nd birthday. The party was organized by Platinum Health Thabazimbi as part of the nationwide 67-minute-community-service campaign.

THABAZIMBI – Madiba’s birthday was celebrated (for more than 67 minutes) in proper fashion on Friday 16 July when the Thabazimbi staff of Platinum Health held a birthday party in honour of Nelson Mandela for the more than 30 children of Thabang.

With funds donated by the medical and administrative staff of Platinum Health in Thabazimbi a proper party with games, ‘n braai, cakes, cooldrinks and sweets was held.

The fun-filled afternoon ended on a high note when take-aways, sponsored by Kentucky Fried Chicken, Thabazimbi for all the Thabang children were collected on the way home.
